We are energy beings

I don’t need a personification of the Divine. God is energy, energy is life. I will replace the word ‘power’ with energy. ‘Power’ implies superiority and I truly believe we are all in this together. Unity is power?…Unity is energy. The truth is that it is more than power, it is more than self, it is the unity of creation, it is energy manifest through compassion. God is consciousness and we are God’s consciousness. The only real word for God is Love. Empathy is key. Life is about relationships and serving the self through acts of service to others. It is about no more excuses and taking responsibility for the energy you create with your thoughts, words and actions. We are energy beings and energy is Spirit. We are Spirit/Mind/Body complexes. We are manifestations of consciousness, God-energy is consciousness and energy is life therefore all of creation is God. More simply, we are God’s consciousness. 


The higher good is about unity not isolation. Being an island unto oneself is not honoring the God-spark within us all. Expecting others to just put up with our demands and desperate need for external validation are just selfish. If you demand to be seen by others, see the other, hear the other, respect the other. Don’t make excuses that savor of victimization as a sword of power. There is no need to seek superiority over others and make excuses as to why your feelings are more important than another’s. 


Life is about relationships and recognizing the God-self in others. We all have an inner child which resides in our sacred heart. The thymus chakra which correlates to the Thymus gland the, source of our Lymphatic system (which Doctors tell us is defunked and shriveled) is the sacred heart chakra. This energy center is our inner child and our inner child is our connection to God-energy, our unity to all creation. Distractions from love are like too much screen time for our inner child. Our true purpose is to become cognizant of our inherent connection to Divinity. Unity, not separation, is how we find happiness. We must be empathetic and aware of the energy we give off and recognize how we are alike instead of different. Compassion is key.


Superiority is an unnecessary wormhole of distraction which hurts others. Cling to love not hate. Life isn’t about the superiority of the individual ego, it is the acknowledgement of the ego as a learning tool to better understand the gift of physical existence. WE are Spirit/Mind/Body complexes. Spirit, which is the unifying God-energy, is our elemental self. ME becomes WE in the enlightened. 


The mind is not the self, the self is so much more and far more united than just an egoistic existence. The mind is the central processing unit of the physical experience. The mind can get lost and obsessed with the physical experience and lose touch with the true ecstasy of our energetic universality. 


Our essence is Spirit. Hedonism is an apathetic policy. There is more to life than the tangible and tactile experience of pleasure. If tangible pleasure is all you can recognize, then you are wearing self-imposed blinders and chasing a carrot while ignoring the freedom and full experience available in the garden around and within you.

Tears of God

I find I have been avoiding my mission. I often think it is because I want a normal life: a good career, a home, a partner, children. But when I look into my heart of hearts I know this isn’t so. Evil

 Evil cannot touch you unless you let it. This is a hard concept to swallow, especially when we consider all the things that happen that we do not deserve. And yet it is the fear based mindset that allows the most fertile ground for evil to take root.  When you think of the story of the fall of angels you recognize the fact that a major part of the war was based on lack of free will. There were angels who became jealous of the humans inherent free will which is not part of their make up. God asked its first born, the angels, to care for and serve the weaker younger creation, humans. This is mirrored in our own societies in sibling rivalries. For which the eldest resents the changes the newer offspring enact to their existence. Again, it is not that the angels no longer loved God it is that they began to feel less than. Yogananda and self realization

 When I was little my Mother used to bring me and my siblings to the Malibu location of Yogananda’s Self Realization center. I loved going because I felt the magic there. As a little girl I would dance around the place with the spirits and rainbows never truly aware of how real it all was. It was such a beautiful and serene place, but I hated it when the quiet old man in orange would start following me around. I would complain to my Mother that we were being followed. That an old man in orange would come up close to me nodding his head with his palms skyward looking deeply into my eyes and ask me questions. Sometimes I would answer his questions, which were mostly about if I knew who he was and where I was from. Each visit, which were many seeing as we were poor and spiritual. And we’re always doing activities that didn’t cost money like going to the beach, hiking, visiting gardens and spiritual centers.
