Living Buddha, Living Christ





We are all one. 


Having been raised Christian, rebelling angrily and then finally having a spiritual awakening years later I have had a difficult relationship with what I thought of Jesus and Christianity


After my spiritual awakening I realized it was the man-made dogma of religions that I had a problem with not the living teachings Jesus asked us to practice. It was the human words, the biased interpretations that hurt and confused me.


God-Source is love. Therefore we are asked only to live mindfully so as to become refreshed and more understanding. To live lives of compassion solidly placed in tolerance, happiness, understanding and love. This is Christ-consciousness.


We light our own candle so that we might help others light theirs.


Jesus was an enlightened great son of humanity in deep connection with his God-spark which is our sacred heart and channel to the divine true Source


God has no grandchildren only children. This encompasses all of humanity. We are God’s Consciousness therefore live consciously with mindfulness and you too shall achieve enlightenment.


As the Buddha says: Joyfully participate in the sorrows of the world


Meaning, share love not misery and you will find peace in each moment

Tears of God

I find I have been avoiding my mission. I often think it is because I want a normal life: a good career, a home, a partner, children. But when I look into my heart of hearts I know this isn’t so. I don’t want the cookie cutter life anymore. I did for a long time, especially when I was pursuing an acting career. My mentality has changed and I no longer desire to be what others want me to be. Evil

 Evil cannot touch you unless you let it. This is a hard concept to swallow, especially when we consider all the things that happen that we do not deserve. And yet it is the fear based mindset that allows the most fertile ground for evil to take root.  When you think of the story of the fall of angels you recognize the fact that a major part of the war was based on lack of free will. There were angels who became jealous of the humans inherent free will which is not part of their make up. God asked its first born, the angels, to care for and serve the weaker younger creation, humans. This is mirrored in our own societies in sibling rivalries. For which the eldest resents the changes the newer offspring enact to their existence. Again, it is not that the angels no longer loved God it is that they began to feel less than. Yogananda and self realization

 When I was little my Mother used to bring me and my siblings to the Malibu location of Yogananda’s Self Realization center. I loved going because I felt the magic there. As a little girl I would dance around the place with the spirits and rainbows never truly aware of how real it all was. It was such a beautiful and serene place, but I hated it when the quiet old man in orange would start following me around. I would complain to my Mother that we were being followed. That an old man in orange would come up close to me nodding his head with his palms skyward looking deeply into my eyes and ask me questions. Sometimes I would answer his questions, which were mostly about if I knew who he was and where I was from. Each visit, which were many seeing as we were poor and spiritual. And we’re always doing activities that didn’t cost money like going to the beach, hiking, visiting gardens and spiritual centers.
