Drop out faithful

It’s a journey. And coming from a Science background (nursing school dropout) I can only say that science has furthered my faith in a God Source. Because on an elemental level we are energy and that means atoms. Although the human eye perceives “mass” as physical bodies that is not a representation of how big our sphere of existence actually is.

On a molecular level we each are at least as big as a football field so how can we deny our energetic presence let alone influence on each other? Let alone believe our human eyes can recognize to what degree ‘made in the image of God’ “looks like.”

We must be more than the mind, especially if we are scientifically minded and accept the basic theory that energy can neither be created nor destroyed.

We exist because we are “god-sparks” as I like to call it. We are God’s consciousness. We are energy, essentially thought forms made physical so that source may experience itself. 

God is love because self recognizes self. And through our conscious attempts to know Source we are recognizing our-self, unified.

Tears of God

I find I have been avoiding my mission. I often think it is because I want a normal life: a good career, a home, a partner, children. But when I look into my heart of hearts I know this isn’t so. Evil

 Evil cannot touch you unless you let it. This is a hard concept to swallow, especially when we consider all the things that happen that we do not deserve. And yet it is the fear based mindset that allows the most fertile ground for evil to take root.  When you think of the story of the fall of angels you recognize the fact that a major part of the war was based on lack of free will. There were angels who became jealous of the humans inherent free will which is not part of their make up. God asked its first born, the angels, to care for and serve the weaker younger creation, humans. This is mirrored in our own societies in sibling rivalries. For which the eldest resents the changes the newer offspring enact to their existence. Again, it is not that the angels no longer loved God it is that they began to feel less than. Yogananda and self realization

 When I was little my Mother used to bring me and my siblings to the Malibu location of Yogananda’s Self Realization center. I loved going because I felt the magic there. As a little girl I would dance around the place with the spirits and rainbows never truly aware of how real it all was. It was such a beautiful and serene place, but I hated it when the quiet old man in orange would start following me around. I would complain to my Mother that we were being followed. That an old man in orange would come up close to me nodding his head with his palms skyward looking deeply into my eyes and ask me questions. Sometimes I would answer his questions, which were mostly about if I knew who he was and where I was from. Each visit, which were many seeing as we were poor and spiritual. And we’re always doing activities that didn’t cost money like going to the beach, hiking, visiting gardens and spiritual centers.
